THE COMPANY Peter Y.-Lassmann has been in the Lumber, Log and Veneer business since 1963. LASSMANN FOREST PRODUCTS had its beginnings when Lassmann started his own agency in Germany in 1985. Realizing the American lumber industry wasn't fully serving European buyers, he relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio, USA in 1988. LASSMANN FOREST PRODUCTS links suppliers all over the United States and Canada with buyers in virtually every European country and several in Asia. LASSMANN FOREST PRODUCTS offers about 30 different North American hardwood and softwood species. Each specie is harvested from the best growing areas and is processed by the finest sawmills, concentration yards, log yards and edge-glue panel production facilities. LASSMANN FOREST PRODUCTS ships about 6 million feet of lumber, logs and furniture parts annually.
